Whilst Airport Transfer is possible by Road via Port Loko, the most popular and convenient options involve water crossing. Water Taxis and Ferry Services operate between Lungi and Freetown. These services match their Operations with flight operating schedules.Â
eat & drink
Airport Water taxis are the quickest and most reliable Airport Transfer option.  SeaCoach Express and Sea Bird Express are the two main companies running water taxi services to Freetown from the Airport. Tickets are available on arrival but can also be purchased online.  We can arrange pickup and drop-off to and from the Water Taxi Boat Terminal  to your hotel or any desired location. Send your Request ahead of time.
NIGHTLIFE
Ferries operate from Kissy and Government Wharf. It is the most cheapest transfer option, but certainly not the most reliable or convenient. We recommend the Kissy Ferry if you are heading Eastend. The Government Wharf Ferry is the less crowdier option and best if you are heading to the Western Area. Expect delays and an interesting experience. We can arrange airport pickup and ferry transfer for you.
FUN
Whilst most transfers from the airport to Freetown mainland involve water crossing, road transfer via Port Loko is also an option. Journey can take up to 4hrs. Â This option however is best if you are heading from the Airport straight to the Provinces. Book our Airport Transfer Service from the Airport to the Provinces or Freetown. Â Your driver will pick you up and drive you to your location.
